Coding
Enrichment Days support the KS2 Computing Curriculum and 'Forces and Motion' Science Topics, and also compliments the KS3 Computing Curriculum. STEM Enrichment Days teach students fundamental principles and concepts of computer science, including computational thinking, mathematical logic and algorithms. Students will design, write and debug their own codes, which they will use to control drones along specific paths.
Drones
Students will learn the science behind the basic principles of flight and what enables a drone to take off. Students will have plenty of flying time where they will programme their drones to complete multiple manoeuvres.
STEM
Digital literacy, computer science, maths and physics skills will be enhanced through creative, stimulating and interactive sessions delivered by trained and Enhanced DBS checked instructors.
